Justin Baker Joins Golf Ventures Sales Team

Experienced golf and turf management professional Justin Baker has signed on to represent Golf Ventures Inc. in the southeast Florida region. As the territory’s new sales manager, Baker expects his experience and contacts from work on the golf club superintendent side of the business to add value to both Golf Ventures and his customers.

Justin Baker has spent his career in the golf industry, but he feels his new sales manager role with Golf Ventures Inc. is “the right fit that came along at the right time.” After completing his certification in Golf and Turf Management at Rutgers University, Baker progressed through the course superintendent ranks at several southeast Florida golf clubs, then spent two years in product sales. “Golf Ventures has a great reputation in Florida, and I was looking to get more into the distribution side of the business from the technical side when this position became available.”

Baker will represent the territory including Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, and parts of Palm Beach counties. Golf Ventures Sales Manager Glen Thompson says, “Justin has worked in the area for 12 years, so he knows the agronomic challenges and needs in southeast Florida, as well as having established relationships with others in the business. We expect Justin to be a big asset to the company and our customers.” 

Baker is married with two young children. In addition to playing golf, he enjoys participating in competitive barbecue and watching college football.
