The event was held at the Longboat Key Resort, with more than 60 turf professionals attending the morning session, which included presentations by Dr. Billy Crow (University of Florida), John Reilly (Longboat Key Resort), Andy Jorgensen (Top of the World), and Pat Skunda (Dunedin Blue Jay).
